How do I keep my face (T-zone in particular) from getting so oily within a couple of hours? Its really irritating.

I find that having a good cleanse, tone and moisturise routine really helped with my greasyness. I use Liz earle Cleanse and polish, then use tea tree water and spray a fine mist on my face and leave it to soak in, this is followed by a mattifying moisturiser I use one with spf from Body shop. Once that has sunk in i blot with tissue before putting on a silicone type base (Benefit porefessional) and a very light loose powder. I find that helps me and stays matt pretty much all day, great thing with the porefessional is if you do find you get a little greasy you can just rub some over your face in the day and it kinda dampens the shine. Hope that helped. And good luck Chick. J*

I know that Clean & Clear has a shine-control moisturizer that's supposed to be amazing. I haven't gotten the chance to try it out myself yet and I'm not sure exactly what it's called, but I've heard great things about it! I think it comes in a pink box. :)

I usually use Mac blot powder and e.l.f. blotting sheets. I do notice that certain foundation helps with my T-zone getting oily. I can say that when U use Revlon colorstay and clinique foundation I don't really have to worry about getting too oily. I may have to blot once a day but that is about it.

I set w/ MUFE HD powder, and then spray it w/ UD's De-slick spray. I find my blotting sheets at Daiso for $1.50 works just fine, but I rarely reach for them w/ this combo.

I definitely suggest getting MAC's Blot powder, it works really good for my oily t-zone ( :

i use urban decay's deslick setting spray in this order: moisturizer, primer (something mattifying is nice.. like tarte's clean slate) spray deslick, foundation and/or concealer, spray deslick again, set with powder and then finish up my face make up. if you make sure that you let the deslick dry between layers, you shouldn't have a problem with oil as much. i found if you use too much powder, it'll just mix with the oil and get cakey. that should help :)

I'm obsessed with Clinique's pore refining solutions Instant Perfector. A little goes a long way, it gives a matte velvety finish and your pores simply disappear. Best of all I stay matte for hours. I love it!  xoxo

This might sound weird but ive herd of people using ''MILK OF MAGNESIA'' they said it blocks oil an sweat better than their expensive face primer
i guess it does work tho i mean people use it for heart burn when they eat too much oily food so it acts like a layer when it coasts the tummy from oil

Every night when I take a shower I wet my face and hands, then I put some BAKING SODA on my hands and scrub my face. The baking soda dries your skin out so it doesn't appear or feel as greasy. Like most of the people who commented use Clean and Clear morning burst shine control it's very useful. It's good to get in the habit of cleaning your face day and night. The way you eat can also affect your acne- that's why you should eat healthy
