(this is from my blog)
Hey everyone,
Okay, so I have washed my hair a total of three different times with my first batch of Beer Shampoo ( I still have a bunch left). I want to tell everyone to try this! I am in love with it! I wanted to try it a few times before I really went out of my way to recommend this to everyone. I have done it three different times and each time I get the exact same result. The result is amazingly soft, shiny, and beautiful hair. I am not exaggerating here. I can tell the difference between using my regular shampoo and using my beer shampoo. The beer shampoo makes my hair feel and look different. I thought that maybe it was going to a one time thing, but it isn't. Every single time I have washed my hair with the beer shampoo my hair turns out the exact same and I LOVE it! I can't stress this to you enough, I swear by this stuff! I have used leave-in conditioners, I have used expensive deep conditioners, I have even tried olive oil. NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING compares to the way this stuff makes my hair feel. I have considered using it in my hair everytime I shampoo it!! I only do it once a week though, but I look forward to it!
If you have no idea what I am talking about then click here ( /mymaneblog.blogspot.com/2011/07/beer-in-my-hair-ewww-or-not.html ) to see my original post. You will find the recipe there too! (:
Once you try it - AND YOU NEED TO TRY IT- let me know how wonderful your hair feels! Yes, you can even thank me! (jk)

@Yasmin K: I need to update this into my review on my blog. That is really funny that you say that, because my friend actually said, " i don't want my hair to smell like beer, people will think I am drunk". I need to tell everyone that my hair does NOT smell like beer! Because of the recipe, I use more Aussie Shampoo then beer. The shampoo smells like Aussie products! My hair has no resemblence to the smell of beer. I also condition my hair after, so it usually actually smells more like my conditioner! No worries, about smelling like an alchy!

This sounds really interesting I definitely need to try this out! I'm glad it doesn't smell like beer because I like to use hemp products but some of them don't smell that great, not really like "hemp" but not good either haha!

Amanda L, Yes, I would not use it if it made my hair smell like beer, I would rather have dry hair then smell like an alcoholic! lol.

Several years ago, I tried a shampoo based on beer; it was called Back to Basics. It was quite nice. :)
