Heyy beauties! My name is Mani Love, I'm new to the site and am actually trying to build a beauty blog :D The only problem is, I'm completely clueless! I have no idea how to make a header, well.. For a header do you just want text or a banner? What else do you want to do?

My best advice is to just play around with it for a while, try different layouts, text, colors until you find what you like. check out other blogs and see what is working for them and what isn't.

I have a blog on Blogger & I just suggest playing around with everything. Also there are help & FAQ pages if you're confused by something. As for making a header I made my own headers in my graphics program. You could always use a program like Paint to make one.

Headers are pretty easy to make, my main issue when I first started out was making sure the header was centered and didn't look awkward or anything. It takes a lot of playing around but the blogger forums helped a lot.

Also how do I add the banner, is it like a simple upload type of thing or do i need a HMTL code or something?

I made mine with Photo shop but that can be an expensive program if you don't have it. but a lot of times when you get cameras they will give you some kind of similar software. once you get your banner made just make sure you save it as a JPEG file type.
