I've recently realized that a lot of my products are beginning to fall along the lines of anti-aging or age prevention. It's making me feel old! I guess I'm lucky that I don't have wrinkles or lines yet (I have an olive complexion and thankfully good skin on both sides of my family), but I'm getting very close to 30 and I've noticed in the last year especially that I really have to go the extra mile to keep my skin from looking dull or uneven. My skin is more delicate than it's ever been as well, so that's another concern I'm starting to address.
I thought perhaps some of you makeup lovers might relate to this. It's not the number that bothers me about getting older, it's the changes! It's so odd to go from having a fabulous complexion naturally to suddenly having to work daily for it. Maybe I'm nuts, but today I'm feeling old! ;)

Oh yeah! I can relate. Within the past year or two, I've noticed that my skin is changing. I'm 32 and I noticed very fine lines around my eyes. I don't have anti-agining products yet besides my AHA gel, but I've noticed I am more gentle with my skin now. :D

I'm 31 and I work with people twice my age who have been in the beauty industry since they were in their 20's. All of them look 20-30 years younger than what they are. The key, start protecting and treating your skin as early as possible. Aging is a one track train and we are all on it. Without surgery I really don't think you can reverse the signs of aging, you can only prevent signs of future aging. People think I'm crazy because I use wrinkle creams and fortifying serums but people also think I'm younger than my sister who is 10 years younger than me, so I figure it must be working. Also (if you haven't already) invest in a cleansing tool such as a DDF Revolve or a clarisonic (I like the Revolve better) it makes a huge difference in the skin. My belief: There is not rebuilding the fibers of the skin, only protecting what is there.

@Heather Glad I'm not alone ;) I hate that things can't stay the same forever! It was so effortless before--boo!
@Angel I'm definitely all for protecting your skin. I use a lot of natural and not so natural products to keep my skin in top shape.
