It can get confusing in here with people posting certain topics in general and the same topics show up in the products section. So how about a few new sections? Skin. Hair. Nails. Makeup.

Thanks for the suggestion Yasmin!

Yeah, these forums could do with a massive overhaul, IMO. Also: Blogging/Youtube Advice.

That a great idea! Seems like question, topics, advice, tips etc are everywhere breaking it down into categories will be more easier to search the site.

Yeah... There needs to be a way we can flag thread posts so we can point out repetitive topics or incorrectly placed topics for admin to fix. It gets overwhelming when i see nothing but blog or YouTube related posts in the wrong section. I feel like there needs to be a limit on posts relating to blog or YT broadcasting/self-promotion. Lately, it's been looking like beautylish is nothing but a personal marketing tool across all topics. =\
...not a bad thing to network, but I see a few repeat offenders spamming the boards with, "hey, new blog post, check it out!" for every little detail there is!

Also, I'm not sure if this exists, but for cosmetic company owners/representatives, maybe set down some guidelines about self promotion...? I've seen a few guilty of bad mouthing other companies or "facts" to sway people to try their products... This is a positive environment to learn about new things to try, but I can't emphasize how repetative spam is!

@Soma I agree with you 1000%.

Maybe you can implement a ticker (like the stock exchange) on the front page that scrolls links of member submitted updates to their blog and limit posts to that to one submission per month? That would def. declutter the threads by a million, and pacify members by giving them an appropriate space for exposure? Similar to Facebook and their new right column to stalk people's live updates... Just less "in your face"...
Oh and the option to link a photo to show in threads instead of saving it to your comp to upload... This would avoid anyone using photos without credits or citing sources!

@Soma Lol on FB new right to stalk people's live updates. Your absolutely right!
