Hello I am seriously considering depotting my pressed shadows and blushes. The thing is, like what palettes on a budget in the uk (sorry for the fuzziness) should I get? Also should I do it? Is it really worth it in the long run?

i don't know about the official palettes, but i like making my own. i love depotting my pressed shadows and color cordinating them. it does pay off in the long run ;) (L.A.colors metallic shadows are cool to depot, take the first layer of the case it came in off, nd then u'd fit more shadows in it.)

I never saw the point in depotting things... I have a palette, but I always just buy the depotted eyeshadows for it because I see it as I'm paying for the packaging anyway so I'd rather keep the room... does that make sense? I feel like there's a better way to explain...

Depot if you intend on purchasing refills from now on! Once you do, you'll be amazed at the space you're saving, and it's so fun rearranging them when you get more to add to your collection! Besides, less waste to the environment, and you can B2M any MAC shadows you depot!
If you're on a budget, use pencil tins as an alternative to the MUFE tin palette with magnet strips from the hardware store.

I luv depoting things, sadly I made a couple of mistakes :p...
never depot baked blushes, they won't fit most palettes.
Other than than If I luv the packaging I won't depot 'em.
But if U have no more space to place ur make up I would say go for depoting :D
BTW is really fun(When U don't crack ur eyeshadows :p)

I usually buy eyeshadow refills so i dont have to go through the hassle of depotting but i do depot the eyeshadow from the pans and believe me it saves a lot of space. Its totally worth it.

@ Nichole I LOVE GOSS! LOL And how much did they charge you to ship it? And do you HAVE to be a pro to order it?
