I'm the same. I'm waiting on having a good camera or a tripod for my phone to make videos. I've only done two and they're not great. But I'd love subscribers so that when I finally make more people are aware lol plus I love watching other people's channels

A few years ago, there were a lot less beauty YTers so it was much easier to get noticed. Now there are soooooooooo many now that it's hard to get through every single one. I have 187,464 upload videos, so I have no issues with getting noticed. But I only have 391 subscribers. It is frustrating.

It takes time I've been doing this since April and I have 66 subscribers and you have to make sure you have great content on your videos. As Deanna said nothing happens over night just keep at it. :)

The thing about doing giveaways to get subscribers is nobody gives a crap about your content, they just want the prize. "oh, free stuff? ok i'll sub!" that's... that's not showing appreciation for your work. If they don't win, some will leave. When I do giveaways, it will be just for the people already subscribed and nobody is going to be allowed to subscribe to win, it won't count, aha.
