My skin has always been normal or fairly dry but lately just my forehead area has been oily. And it's only when I wake up in the morning, and have just washed my face the night before. I normally switch between 3 different facial cleansers and use a toner and oil free moisturizer.
Any tips or advice on how to prevent this?

do you use a cleansing system? my skin is pretty oily (well, used to be. its more combination now) and i use the olay pro x advanced cleansing system.
you can splurge on a clarisonic or pick up sigma's cleansing system. they all work the same way. i noticed my oil has reduced a LOT since i started cleaning my skin daily with my olay one.

I always forget to clean my face in cold water but I will definitely try to remember. O use one face cleanser until it's gone (a month maybe) and then I'll switch to one of my other two that I like but I'll have to decide which one I like best! Thank you!

I just use a cleanser free of hydroxy acids, and also detergents because the more oil you remove from your skin, the more your skin produces. Use and effective but gentle cleanser ( Clinique or Cetaphil works great for me) and any water based cleanser. I always start with warm water to open pores while cleansing, and then I use cool water to close. Also, try not to dry your face off before applying moisturizer, as moisturizer really only serves to lock in moisture, not as much to add it in. : )
