I have recently started swimming in the morning before classes two days a week, on top of the weather which was already drying my hair, now I have the chemicals from the pool and extra water washing the oils out. I am already noticing a change in my hair's texture, and I do not like where this is headed. Does anyone know of any good shampoo/conditioner or swimmers, or would you suggest a hair mask? This is not a huge problem yet, but I would like to stop this before the damage starts.
Have a wonderful day!

I hear that Ultra Swim or Agree Swimmers Solution is supposed to be really good for avid swimmers. THough I've heard that Agree is harder to find in stores. I used to swim almost every morning too and noticed a lot of damage to my hair due to the chemicals so I started wearing a swim cap. Have you tried? It saves your hair so much. I really recommend that you should be using a hair mask once a week. I personally really like: http://www.beautylish.com/p/its-a-10-miracle-hair-mask

I used it until the last drop and it did wonders for my hair!

I like Malibu Swimmers Water Action. The shampoo and conditioner helps to prevent build up of chemicals and minerals, and prevents green hair caused by copper. The conditioner leaves the hair feeling silky soft and manageable.

Lanza's is pretty awesome. If you're blonde, L'oreal Professional has a "White Violet" shampoo & conditioner that is amazing for getting out brassiness or green tints. You'll also want a deep conditioner, I adore Moroccan Oil Moisture Repair shampoo & conditioner-pricey but totally worth it!

Shampoo Three form Paul Mitchell is made to remove chlorine and other impurities from the hair. A must have for swimmers!
