HEY :)
My co-worker told me she loves WEN and she practically lives by it haha but she didnt tell me any thing special that it does.

Has anyone used Wen before?.....If so, is there really any special/different benefits that regular shampoos lack?

basically it can cleanse your hair without the sulfates of shampoos and it will keep your color longer no matter which scent you switch you depending on your hair type, dry hair will become more moisturized, oily scalps will get cleansed without stripping your hair of it's essentials. And You'll be able to do all these great things with a product that wont dry your hair out, or strip it of color, or leave it dull. They have all different kinds of scents which translate to different hair types. The only thing I didnt like about it was the price and how much you need to use. If youre following the directions some will say that you need X amount of pumps for the right amount and it can be like anywhere from 10-20 pumps. It varies from bottle to bottle because all the conditioners are different(I bought a sample pack with all of them once lol). So for me I really noticed how often I was going through what I had because they were smaller bottles and I rinse my hair everyday. I'd say(personal opinion) that if you don't wash your hair everyday it's probly a better deal for you, but if youre like me who washes your hair everyday 32.00 a bottle is no deal.. thats IF you're not buying the styling products to go with it.
QVC has a lot of deals on WEN though, they get like kit deals and stuff where you can get things at a good deal(I think). The quality of the cleansing conditioners is really nice, I really like them, they smell great, they work great, they're easy to use. I'm on the waiting list with qvc now for a new scent WEN came out with, it got amazing reviews from a ton of people, but this is something I only buy once and a while as a treat. but thats just me.

I have never used Wen, but I have used the cheaper alternative from Sally's Beauty Supply called Hair One. Loved it. It cleaned my hair, made it healthy, and gave me quite a bit of volume, and when i used it in the shower it gave a nice cooling sensation on my head. However there were some things that I did not like, such as: the price, I went through this faster than water comes out of the shower head and at $12 a bottle, that didn't fly for this college girl! Second it was a LLOONNGG process in the shower, definitely not your lather and go type stuff. Third, i wasn't a fan of the smell..the kind i got smelled like cucumbers and dirt.

Lori- "cucumbers and dirt" lol hilarious thats no bueno. But interesting, didnt know there was another brand out there similar to WEN

Honestly, I have straight Asian hair that i wash every 3 days. Wen seriously made my hair feel super dirty even though i was "cleansing" everything other day.

so i just tried it yesterday and i like it, nothing super amazing so far, ill see how it goes.

I tried the Wen system and to be honest I liked it quite a bit. My mom hated using it because she thinks it made her hair feel dirty but it's possible that people think their hair feels clean when they use all those products that are bad for their hair. I don't think my hair felt dirty, personally. But if you're one of the people who feels they need to wash their hair every day, then I wouldn't recommend it for you.

I'm a cosmetologist and trust me...not worth it... I haven't seen anything it claims happen.

My hairstylist told me that it's not the best...

I bought a sealed bottle off ebay from a trusted and well respected seller and by following the directions on the dvd, I had to use 12 pumps per section of hair. They divide your head into 4 sections so they wanted me to use 48 pumps at a time! I still felt my hair was frizzy and not as soft as I thought it should have been. I'm probably going to use it up, finish my bottles of Biolage and look for a good sulfate free shampoo and conditioner for my frizzy, colored hair.

I wouldn't buy from the website though. You can find it on ebay slightly cheaper without having to worry about the month to month renewal charge.

I'm with @Mindy. I have textured Asian hair and it actually made my hair feel kind of dry, which is not at all what I expected! I don't know if it's just better suited to certain hair types, but it wasn't great for me.

I love love love love it when my grandma surprises me with some more Wen. It makes my hair so stupidly crazy healthy. I can't stand having to go back to regular shampoo & conditioner.

Well i just bout a 30 day supply of wen for $9.99
I'm going to try it out and see how it works on my hair....because i dont wash my hair everyday because of my texture, only once a week
....If it doesnt work for me ....im gonna stick to going to the Salon on the regular.

I got a sample product in My Glambag and tried it this week. Personally I didn't like the smell but luckily the smell fades once my hair dries. And it left my hair feeling dry and my natural curls looked lifeless. I like trying new stuff but this product I don't plan on buying again.

Walgreens sells a less expensive version now... it's from Salon Grafix, and it's only $7.99 a bottle. It works really well, if you use it every day. If you use it less frequently, it doesn't get the oils out and leaves your hair kinda yucky. I like the SG version, I'm a single mom with 2 kids so no WEN for me... BUT this version works well. The question is: is it worth the cost? I don't really think so... but it is a nice splurge. I don't think I would buy it again, though. My long hair just eats it up... so I use a lot.

Iam a product junkie.. i worked for Gunthy Renker and got this stuff for free. the whole 9 yards frequently,,, i have colors hair.. it worked for a while BUT THEN... actually had a adverse effect and started making my hair MORE dry and damaged so i had to stop

@Ashley P. Wow really!!! it actually made your hair worse in the long run!??...i like to try new products on my hair but im scared to take chances after hearing what you said. Even though everyone has different hair textures and results this makes me a little iffy on trying it.

It made my hair worse, too! Made my scalp reallllly oily, even with extremely thorough rinsing.
