Any of the benefit mascaras, the mary kay mascaras, and any high end brand mascaras. I particularly like the estee lauder ones. Flaking for me tends to happen if the formula is waterproof, so if you don't want flaking, you can stop using waterproof mascaras (if that is what you're using). And if you're looking for just drugstore, I'd say the Physicians Formula ones, or the covergirl lashblast. :P

What mascara are you using now?
I tend to lean towards Mac Plush Lash as my go to. I don't like using waterproof because I find they rip out my lashes because they are such a pain to get off.
I also started using Buxom Lash recently and I really like that if your looking for a more natural look.

Cover Girl Lash Blast (in the orange tube) Is my absolute favorite! I never have any problems with flaking or anything. But I'd stay away from the waterproof formula. That one tends to flake and be a pain to remove.

like ashley k asked, what mascara are you using? & what do you want out of a mascara (volume, length, etc)?
i only own drugstore mascaras but none of them (none that i can remember in the past either) flake. maybe you are using the waterproof kind?

my absolute favorites are mufe smokey lash, ysl volume effect faux cils, and dior diorshow. But like ashley said, it depends on what you want out of it. do you like a more natural soft effect, or do you like a lot of drama and intensity. do you like more defined lashes or do you like them more feathery? do you want it to focus on volume, length, curl...etc

The best I've used YSL Singulier is quite amazing for thicker, curvier lashes.

I'm with Courtney A. on this, I love my MUFE Smokey Lash Aqua and reg. formulas!
It is pricier, but sephora has kits with a deluxe sample of their Sense Eyes remover (which I can't live without) and it makes it worth it to me, since it's the most effective makeup remover I've used that doesn't leave behind an oily film on my lids! I think they're the same price as buying just the mascara in store, so I think it's an online exclusive only... =\
Good luck!

For a long time I've been a devotee of Maybelline Great Lash, and I like the version with the big wand. That said, I have a new favourite: L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black. A little tip with that, though, since it's an extremely thick formula: Wipe the excess off the wand with a little toilet paper or an old towel or washcloth.
Neither mascara has flaked on me.

I Love Lash blast, the wand the Formula its the only mascara i can use that make my lashes not look a hot clumpy mess with one step instead of the 18 steps i have to take with the others (apply comb out, apply, comb out)

Pick up one of the Japanese brands. When it comes to lashes that won't move, they know what they're talking about. Everything I've ever used tranfers on me by the end of the day but, so far, the Kiss Me brand hasn't failed me. It's a horror to remove but when it's on, it STAYS on. Beats MUFE Smoky Lash and the Lancome Hypnose in my books. Hope you can find it where you are.
