Individual falsies?

I applied false, individual lashes for the first time ever today. I didn't apply make up before and had a few questions. Should I be okay to put on eyeshadow and mascara and curl my lashes? After I did it, I read online that I should have done those things before. Should I start over? I've also heard they last a few weeks and that's what I'd like. Is that the norm? Ay tips would be much appreciated.

You probably should have curled your lashes before hand but after is alright too. And it's definitely okay to apply makeup afterwards. While it's normally easier to do your eye shadow first and then put on your lashes, it can be done in any order you want. You always want to apply your mascara after you put the lashes on because it helps them blend into each other. And yes, false lashes are good to use everyday for a few weeks and then it's recommended that you dispose of them. Just like anything you put near your eyes, you want to stop using after a certain amount of time because the bacteria builds up and you don't want that close to your eyes. Hope this helped!

Thanks Erin. Can you recommend a good way to wash my face without taking the lashes off?

I can't think on anything other than to take them off and put them on again. Any kind of makeup remover will take the glue off with your makeup. False lashes are designed to come off when your makeup does, so there isn't really a way to do that.

That's what I figured but thought maybe you knew something I didn't. I tried your tips today, thanks so much! They worked and they look fantastic!
