postiche brush is handy for teasing, and its quite easy, get a section of hair hold it up, stick the bristles straight into the middle of the section and pull it down to the scalp, just remember to be gentle when brushing it out, but if you do it properly it shouldnt be hard .

I had my old roommate tease my hair once for Halloween. NIGHTMARE to get out. But then again I wanted it crazy insane big and tangled. If I remember right she just used a metal comb and some hairspray, combing my hair in sections towards my head quickly. Took all of 5 minutes to get my hair sky high!

A tip from my hairdresser from my wedding. Spritz each section of hair with hairspray before (not after) teasing. Much quicker and stays longer too. Hope this helps a little!

I agree with Cliona, Also after tasing flip the hair towards the opposite side you are planning on placing it and let the hair set for a few seconds and this will add a little move volume to the section of hair.

i honestly hate hairspray just because i have a dry scalp and so choose not to use dem but not saying not to go with it if it helps awesome but in my case i use my hands and a blow dryer by teasing my hair while im blow drying ,straight out of the shower of course and blowing my hair up from inside and sometimes when i feel i want a little more i spray dry shampoo on both sides where i want more volume works like a charm =) hope it helps

If you tease it properly, it isn't a nightmare to get out. Do small section, use a fine tooth comb, & don't go up & down frantically. You're aiming to create a cushion of hair-take your small section of hair, insert your comb into the section & push down the section. Repeat several times. It's easier to tease it bigger than you want it & smooth it down. Dirty hair works the best, if it's clean, use some dry shampoo first to give it some stick.

I have been teasing my hair for over two years now and you can really use any brush or comb. It's all about the products that you use. Hairspray is great for hold but who wants hard sticky hair all day. I personally stopped using it ever since I discovered Oribe's Dry spray. Gives amazing amazing volume and you can also use it as a dry shampoo.

A teasing brush is the best way to do it in my opinion. They have three rows of bristles that are different lengths and the middle row is longer than the others. I use the amped up brush by cricket.

I have teased my hair with a teasing comb and a boar bristle brush and i have found it to work much better for me with the brush. I also agree with Erica, day old hair holds a tease better than clean hair does!
