Hello beauty gurus!
I've been playing around with a lot of bold lip colours lately and I've heard that using a transparent lip liner works really well to maintain the colour for long periods of time and for preventing feathering around the lip line. Does this really work or am I better off just finding a matching lip liner for my lipsticks? If it is worth it which brands have you tried?
Thanks!
Kristalyn

I have the urban decay Ozone lip liner which is clear and I like it a lot it helps prevent feathering on the cheaper lipsticks like Nyx and what not.

I think finding the exact color lip liner is better but also a Nude lip liner looks good under lipstick. I use either NYX or Victoria Secret lip liner in Nude.

I use the MUFE lip definer pencil [transparent] and it works WONDERS! It IS pricey though... but it def. does exactly what it's supposed to do: seal in a barrier to keep your lip liner, gloss or lipstick from feathering. I have larger lips and I'm never conscious of how many times I lick my lips or snack on things throughout the day... so it's a great asset since I am pretty prone to feathering. This resolves the issue 100%. =D
You can use a lip liner in the same shade of your lipstick though, but it is not fool-proof. You can always go over your lips with concealer prior to lining your lips so that you can take further steps to prevent this. Transparent pencil is not necessary if you want your warpaint to last through a zombie apocalypse, it's good to have but not necessary.
