How Can I Wake Up "Pretty"?

I spend some night's with my boyfriend whether or not it's over at his family's, or one of our places. When I wake up, My hair is ruined and oily, my complexion is dull and dry, and my eye's look as if my boyfriend likes to swing his elbows at my face in his sleep (I have horrid under eye circles). Sometimes I am able to wash my make up off before I go to sleep but usually we hit the sack before then and I lose all ambition to drag my feet to the washroom.
Anyways, my question is this: Is there any way to wake up "pretty" in the mornings? Is there some sort of deranged trick to it? Would drinking water help my complexion, or sleeping a certain way save my hair? Any type of advice is welcomed so come at me from all corners.
I would prefer not to look like the walking dead as I am greeted by his grandparents in the morning with a "surprise" breakfast! Yikes!

Cheers, Stazz

Satin pillow cases will prevent friction and rubbing on your hair... And water is definitely your best friend. Keeping some moisturizer at hs place will def. help dull skin (I like CeraVe's) and its something the bf can use too if he wants.

Hair oilies can be because of too much heat (is the heater running?), so try turning it down. You can always try wrapping your hair in a turban when you sleep to avoid super messy hair...

Keep Almay make up remover pads in your purse. They have a travel sized case, but you can also just place a few in a mini Ziploc baggie. You can always swipe those under your eyes for a quick fix for eye make up that somehow trailed down where it doesn't belong. Then I suggest your favorite concealer being dotted. Depending on what all you like to keep in your purse you could also try and get away with dabbing a little eye base/eyeshadow primer. Just let him think you're getting up to use the restroom and coming back to lounge with him. It'll only take a few seconds to do this and then pull your hair back into a cute high pony or something to that effect. :)

I agree with the moisturizer. It gives a dewy look to your complexion, fights aging, and brightens up the dullness.

I also suggest a highlighter to bring attention to your favorite features and keep the eyes away from what you do not. I myself love natural beauty so when it comes to no makeup makeup I like just curling my eyelashes, applying lip balm, and applying moisturizer.

If you have bad circles under your eyes concealer is your best friend. Its also great if a blemish randomly pops up. For under eyes a salmon color works well to counteract the blue and green counteracts redness.

I love messy hair so I would say to work with what you have. Messy hair can be sexy as long as you use a frizz serum or mouse the night before when it is wet. For the oil bulidup on your hair you can use dry shampoo to soak it up or baby powder :)

I hope these tips helped <3 My last suggestion is to drink plenty of water, eat as healthy as you can, exercise, and take multi-vitamins to look beautiful and feel amazing :)

Drinking water is great for you in a ton of ways, but I second the makeup remover wipes advice. Sleeping in makeup is one of the worst things you can do for your skin, so find something that's convenient.

I don't know if this would work for you, but I like to soak a few slices of cucumber in green tea then freeze them. In the morning, you can pop them on for a couple minutes and your under-eye bags will disappear!

When I first started staying the night with a boyfriend, I used to be really embarrassed by my "naked" face in the morning, too. I have acne pretty bad, and would even get up early to dab on concealer and foundation before he woke up. Now I think it's silly to always hide my face from my partner, but I understand that you want to look your best.

I agree with everyone saying keep make up remover near by, along with water and moisturizer. To be honest, I realized that I had crud under my eyes, my skin was dry and squished up and my eyes were puffy not too long after I started seeing my current boyfriend. Not the image I wanted to give him. Anyway, I just started drinking a ton of water closer to bedtime and moisturizing the heck out of bed before I went to bed and ASAP when I wake up. The moisturizer also helps wake me up since its cool and de-puffs my eyes.i think your best bet it to just keep these items nearby. Maybe use a tinted moisturizer so you get some coverage but look natural too? So I really haven't told you how to 'wake up' pretty, but how to get there fast! And remember, most of the time, your bf probably looks pretty rough in the mornings too.

I meant to say I moisturize the heck out of my face, not my bed.

I get the most compliments from my boyfriend in the mornings when I'm "fresh faced". I would suggest carrying makeup removers (I keep mine in the nightstand) and a moisturizer.
I too like to "wake up beautiful" so I take off all of my make up before bed, apply moisturizer, lip balm, curl my eyelashes, and for my hair I just twist it up in a bun, and in the morning I take it down and it's not frizzy.I don't always brush my teeth before bed (tsk tsk) but when I do it's usually when I'm at his house cause I have bad morning breath.

I pretty much agree with what has been said lol I have dull dry skin and would sometimes sleep in my makeup, I made the switch to this Aveeno anti-aging moisturizer kit that I got from target, it comes with a gentle scrub, eye cream, daily moisturizer with spf 30, and a night cream. It doesn't irritate my skin or cause redness and it makes my skin glow when I wake up! I don't know what type of skin you have but this kit has helped my skin wake up nice.

If you're currently washing you're hair everyday, that's too often, and will make you're hair grow oily faster. If you slow down the oil production by washing it less than it won't look as oily all the time, aka, when you wake up.

I really cant add anything to the fabulous advice that's already been issued, but maybe instead of putting baby powder/dry shampoo in your hair once youve woken up, you can apply it before going to bed so it just soaks up the oil during the night and you wont have to be sneaking around in the morning trying to sprutz it up? haha

I had the same issues except my main gripe was with my undereye circles, so I just always wore concealer..it's not like youll clog your undereye pores..but I've heard of some people getting milia from sleeping in eye makeup. ;/ There are some AM eye creams that are meant to brighten the undereye area (although nothing as game-changing as concealer). Still looks natural, but a little forgiving. The one I use is Origins Ginzing. It's got a little bit of color and light-reflecting particles, as well as all the good moisturizing properties.
As for the dull skin, YOU MUST cleanse/exfoliate/moisturize before bed. Nothing else will make that difference in the morning. Although I do experience those nights where we just crash after a drunken suaree, and I wake up in my makeup...just try to take care of your face as soon as possible!
