So I plan on doing the classic pin up makeup, bold red lip and strong cat eye.
I'm planning on wearing some retro lingerie, a swimsuit and dress.
I need some advice though.
Best foundation for a photoshoot? Preferably not expensive....
I use my mark. Face Xpert right now and it's awesome but I want somethin that's full coverage, matte and long lasting
also, a good red lipstick, that won't come off. I have one that's moisturizing and it's nice but comes off like crazy and I don't want that

Dream matte collection by maybelline. Really anything that does not contain shimmer or spf will look gorgeous on camera... Also make sure to apply everything extra cause what may look like too much in person will look like hardly enough on camera

If you want an inexpensive foundation try Revlon's photo-ready foundation!

Any foundation with little to no SPF. I think a cream foundation would work better for this (Graftobian, Ben Nye, and Kryolan all make them, and they're not super-expensive); virtually all of them are matte and inexpensive. Not to mention cream provides more coverage than a liquid.
I also suggest buying a red lipliner and filling in the lips with that first. It will help the l/s stay on for longer.

yup pretty much what they said, stay with the matte foundations, I woudn't recomend an extremely full coverage, I think photos look better with just enough coverage, unless U go for a really extreme fake face, up to you.
stay ayaw from shimmey foundations because they tend to reflect light so it will give a ghost appearance, test out lipsticks on ur fingers and see which one works best for your skin complexion.
If you are going for a cat liner I would say practice a couple of days before, I mess up all the time with liner so you know practice makes a difference in the final result.
I think True Match by L'Orealis a good option for a matte foundation, you can work on layer if u wanna achieve full coverage, I think is in the midium coverage.
If your foundation don't last make sure your moistureizer is water based or whatever is ur foundations EX. if foundation is iol based use oil based moistureizer.
SO that your lipstick don't smudge use a lip liner and put on ur lipstick blot on a tissue paper and reaply a thin layer of the same lipstick you used to make it last a but longer.
Hope that helps a lil.
about concealer use it where you need to, I preffer to use after foundation(sheer coverage)
and hide the imperfections, tha way my skin looks a bit more like skin lol.

For a pin-up photoshoot, I would suggest a couple of things. My favorite lipliner for pin-up looks is RImmel Exxagerate lip-liner in Ravish. It's such a classic shade, I really recommend it. Also, I know you said you want a good lipstick that won't come off. I have the perfect one in mind, but it's not drugstore. It's benefit's flirt alert, and It's the best red lipstick I own. It lasts forever, and it photographs beautifully. Here's a really cool pin-up site if you need further inspiration:)
