I think I got the shaping part down (I have been using stencils) but I have no idea how to trim the length of them. I thought about using small scissors but that seems weird? That and I am terrified of making a mistake and having funky brows >.< Any suggestions or tutorials you may know of?

If your really not comfortable trimming them then do not do it shaky hands are not good for cutting eyebrows haha but if you feel confident then just trim along the top of them I always use an eyebrow comb for marking out where I want to cut them

The way I do it is I use a brow comb or spoolie and brush the hairs upward and trim a tiny amount off of whatever is sticking upwards. The best brow scissors I found were the same as the Japonesque ones: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=prod2103242
The other ones I saw were WAY too sharp and pointy for me to feel comfortable using them near my face. I think they look more like cuticle scissors than brow scissors, and I like how these ones are angled - it makes holding it easier without a fist being in your way when trying to groom your brows. Hope that helps!

Get some good scissors and comb upwards and just slightly trim, don't over do it because you will have a hole in your brows ( i know i have done it )
but if you are uncomfortable go to a salon and just ask a pro to do it, at my salon people come in for just a trim all the time, and we charge only a few dollars.

I would strongly suggest you go to a professional for 1 session. List down the questions you have and have them answered. That way, you will have master the basics and handle it yourself in the future.
