I wanted to start this topic because I bet there are many talented people wanting to start making youtube videos and maybe that's one of their resolutions. It would be great if you can write a couple of things to become a successful youtuber or what you believe are key ingredients in making good videos. :)

I REALLY want to break into youtube, or at least tell people about my blog...but I'm so nervous because I'm still at school and I know I'll get ripped on for doing it :( I think the key ingredients to being successful on youtube is:

Have a good camera and lighting
Be original
Speak clearly
Be yourself

:)
