I went to the store the other day to try out a new shampoo/conditioner and I found it very difficult. It seems that everything is for coloured treated, damaged, hair. There was not a lot for healthy hair.
My hair is thick and pretty long and also virgin (never been dyed). There are a few products that I like but I am looking for something to fall in love with. Something that will bring out more shine, and how healthy my hair really is.
So please suggest away, thanks so much!

Try the sexy hair product line, specifically silky sexy hair. I just bought it for my sister and it smells awesome. She loves it and has long thick beautiful hair.

I suggest Frederic Fekkai Glossing shampoo and conditioner. I have 3c/4a type hair (tight curls) and while it works pretty well for my hair, a couple of my friends have hair more or less how you've described your own and it works really well for them, especially in the healthy shine department.

I would go with any salon grade products, a lot of the other products can have wax's in them that build up on the hair and cause damage. I love Sexy hair, Redken, Rusk and Aveda just to name a few. If you are looking for one for just normal hair Sexy Hair has a newer Soy protein shampoo and conditioner you might like.

goldwell is my favorite brand and they have some amazing shampoos and conditioners, we sell it at the salon i work at, seeing as u dont need any repair or moisture put back in your hair i would choose one that suits what you want your hair to do, such as a volume shampoo or a shine shampoo or even curl shampoo, sometimes i like to mix things up and use rich repair shampoo with a moisture repair conditioner (because my hair is quite damaged) but just try things out and see what u like best :)

If your hair is already healthy and growing strong, then make sure the shampoo and conditioners you buy have a listed pH balance of 4.5 - 5.5. That is the natural pH of your skin and hair. When chemicals are applied to hair and skin, the pH levels change. So you are trying to maintain the health you have already achieved. Hope that helps :)

I'm a Redken girl through and through and totally recommend them to anyone. I personally use the one for color treated hair, but they have others.

I'm with Jesi Marie! I use their Extreme shampoo and Smooth Down Butter Treat, but I'm sure you would be pleased with any shampoo from their line. I love Redken!
