Hey ladies,
I just placed my order online for two of Essie's Luxeffect. For those of you who don't know, they are Essie's new holiday line of polish intended to use as a top coat. Check out Zappos.com, they have them there.
I ordered the As Gold As It Gets and the Shine Of The Times. They are both FLAKEYS (dies)--which I have been searching for for months. Months! All the ones I keep finding are so expensive.
Have any of you tried this? Or any other flakey polish? What's your take?

I have "Shine of the Times" and I love it! I layered mine over a burgundy shade, and it gives it this gold-green-duo chrome finish.

The LuxeEffects display has been sold at the CVS and Walgreens in my area, so if you have one of those, you might want to look there. :)

I have not found any Luxeffects in any of my local drug stores (kind of ridiculous since NYC has a gazillion of them)....maybe I'm just not looking at the right places. Anyone tried Ricky's? I ordered mine off of good ol' ebay

CVS' are the worst! I am a big fan of Duane Reade though. Our Duane Reade's here have a BAR. With beer. It's bananas! I wonder if other DR's in other states have it.

I also have Shine of the Times! My Walgreens had a nice, full display. Thank goodness! I love Essie.

Love Shine of the times!!
I received both, Gold as it gets is beautiful but very fine. Shine of the times is amazing! I also checked out nail inc.'s collection, and they are SO GORGE!!
