I use to use these products years ago but I can't really say it contributed to my hair growth since I already had long hair at the time when I was using it. Last year I did by a bottle and for some reason the shampoo had my head itching like crazy.

No this is false. It does not make your hair groe any faster. Try taking biotin pill to help with hair growth. Healthy long hair starts with within your body.

I've heard it's great for really thick, textured hair like mine, but never heard it helps it grow. I tried it YEARS ago, but it's been a long time since. :)

LOL It's a shampoo and conditioner that was formulated for horses manes and tails. The one found in drugstores is no longer the same (formula) as the ones sold at a tack store. But to be honest, no shampoo or conditioner or product will make hair grow thicker or faster. Think about it. How is something applied to your hair going to make the hair bulbs (inside your skin) grow faster or thicker? How is ANY product (including vitamins and supplements) going to make it grow thicker? Your hairs thickness is predetermined by genetics and while some supplements can trick the body into thinking it needs to go into a growth cycle nothing can make it actually grow in thicker.
