I did a Worth the Hype video on OPI nail polish! A lot of people had opinions about it and I would love to hear yours!

OPI is a great quality nail polish. I hesitated on buying my first OPI nail polish for a very long time until I came across them in Duane reade. Ever since then I love love love OPI : )

It comes down to individual colors, but they do have a high batting avg. For quality... I've found a few misses in pigmentation, but the colors definitely do more than make up for it. =)

I think they kind of set the standard. When someone (at least, in my experience) thinks of a higher end nail polish, OPI is usually the first one to come to mind. And for a good reason, I do love their polishes, I have yet to find one I'm really disappointed in quality wise...
The only thing I would really change is the price! =P

I honestly like Essie polishes a million times better. I think it goes on a lot smoother. I also love Essie's top coat a lottttt better than OPI's. It lasts a lot longer:) In my opinion, at least lol

@Breanna I don't get why so many people love Essie! I've tried a few of their polishes and they always turn out to be unimpressive and streaky on me. Maybe it's cause of the brush size to my nail size or something, but I've never been impressed.

@Dylan lol or maybe it's just me! I never have luck with any polish brand, essie is the ONLY one! haha. I am terrible at painting nails.

I LOVE OPI but you CAN get pretty good dupes for far, far less such as Revlon's Sinful Colors. Sinful Colors can be picked up for as little as 99 cents at Walgreens and RiteAid but the main price is $1.99.

I think it all comes down to individual polish. There are hits and misses in all brands. With that being said, I think I have the most OPI, because they have unique polishes. If I like it, I buy it, I don't care about labels....

The best thing about OPI is the brush and colors. They glide on so smooth and always look professionally polished. Although I don't know that I would pay retail :/ almost $10 a bottle is kinda crazy but thankfully I'm licensed :)

I think OPI is worth the money for the brush alone. It glides on so so smooth and it lasts a really long time. If you are looking for a really good alternative version that is a little less expensive, I highly recommend Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri. It also has a great brush that makes a difference.

To be honest, I think I like Sally Hansen more. I still use OPI but I used a lot of China Glaze or sinful colours as well. And I like the pigmentation of Essie better as well!

I actually prefer the Sephora by OPI over regular OPI...I feel like the formula is much better. Zoya is great, too, and probably my favorite polish brand. I'm with Dylan...I've only tried one Essie polish so far but it was very streaky.
