If you love bright colors, you must try the pressed eyeshadows from Sugarpill! I recommend every single one of them! (The loose shadows are awesome as well, but not matte)

I just ordered Sugarpill! Yay! I love Make Up Forever for mattes, Illamasqua as well. MAC has some good choices, as does Inglot. Drugstore? Hmm...harder but Wet N Wild has some good choices. Are you looking for neutrals or brights?

Stephanie pretty much named all my favourite lines that carry nice mattes. I LOVE mattes. I've been obsessed with them for the past few years and it's a shame that not all fun makeup companies make a lot of mattes in anything other than neutral.
My favourite eyeshadows are MAC (Plumage, Brulle, Indian Ink, Shadowy Lady, Chrome Yellow). MUFE #92 is my ALL time favourite eyeshadow period. NYX's Black and White eyeshadowsI love all of Sugarpills pressed eyeshadows. I find Inglot's mattes to be a little chalky, but they're still useable. Wet n Wild has palettes with a mix of mattes with shimmer/satins. L'Oreal HiP duos also have some mattes. The 88 palettes also have a nice selection of colourful mattes.

Thank you all for your responses, I appreciate it! I am definitely looking for the bright colored mattes and you guys have given me some good ideas. I have a few from Urban Decay and from Mac but not too many of them.
I had heard that Inglot had some really nice ones but without there being a store near me, I would have to order online without being able to see them in person. I did hear that Inglot is coming to some Macy's stores so I am hoping to have one close to me.
I have seen Sugarpill online but have never ordered, but I guess I will be checking them out!
Thanks again ladies! xoxox

Hi Kristin!
Just like Heather, right now my favorite matte shadows are Make Up For Ever (I can never get enough of them), Inglot (I have their bright and neutral 50 matte palettes!), and Sugarpill pressed shadows. They're super pigmented and easy to blend!

Kristin, Inglot makes the best matte shadows ever in my opinion. They are pigmented (I always have to tap my brush off or else I get too much color) and they blend wonderfully. I was a creeper and saw that you are from LA haha they have an Inglot at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. It is not too far and well worth the trip. You get the full experience and it is far better than buying online as you are free to swatch the shades and see them in person. The customer service there is great as well. :D

I wish I was near an Inglot store...I love their shadows and want to try out other products.
I was hoping to come on here and also suggest Sephora matte shadows, I love their glittery ones! But, I am trying to work with the ones I just purchased last weekend and I'm not having much success. They just really aren't pigmented the way I want.
So I guess my original post still stands. LOL

@Alexis C-I totally forgot that Fashion Island had one! It's definitely not too far from me, so I am going to be checking that out. I did not want to purchase over the internet because the colors are always so different when you actually get the product and swatch it. Thanks for reminding me about Newport...you're a lifesaver!
@Stephanie F.-What a bummer about the Sephora Mattes. That would have been easily accessible to anyone lol.
@Ainslie W.-I LOVE blue eyeshadows! Def have to check that out =)
It seems the verdict is pretty much Inglot, MUFE, Sugarpill and Mac.
Thanks again everyone!

BH cosmetics has a really good 88 palette for matte colors that are wonderful!

No problem! Let me know what you get! Yes shopping online is always a risk in regards to color accuracy and texture. Especially with Inglot they have such amazing finishes.

Inglot makes my favorite eyeshadows, not just matte but overall. So wonderful. But I wonder what Sugarpill will make me think ;)
Also, the matte 88 palette I have from Coastal Scents is a great value. I don't use my 88's enough. I should use those more. Thanks for making me think of them!
