I am so excited about this product, its not funny!
Last night, I was at Walgreens--and of course, since I am a mascara addict I was checking out the newest ones. A beautiful picture of Gwen Stefani caught my eye, it was an ad for the new L'oreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes. So, as I always do, I got one to try.
Its housed in this really neat packaging (you know me and cute packaging), and the brush is really strange, its all angled and it flares out toward the wand. I love Voluminous, but I didn't really have the highest expectations.
I love it!!! One coat was all I needed. Its one of those mascaras that fibers out and all that, but this is REALLY nice!
I just got Benefit's They're Real, and it was a miss for me. It made my lashes crunchy and it didn't flatter me (I know, I am the only one who doesn't love it, I was so hoping it would be amazing...) Anyway, I could have saved so much money. LOL
But you have to try this one!!! Has anybody? Thoughts??

Here is the ad for it. I will do a before and after or something when I get home. Ridic!

If you get it, I want to know what you think.

Do you have any photos of your lashes with and without the mascara? I don't think any reviews have photos of it yet.

Yikes!
I feel a trip to the drugstore coming on! I am always on the search for the "perfect" mascara

I think a lot of ads put false lashes on their models. I've tried lash stilletto but I can never get my lashes to look like the ad.

...I really need to use up the mascaras I have before trying another... but... I really want to try it... but I really should wait... *argues with self*

I am def going to try this mascara! And yes, for marketing purposes most ads use false lashes :)

Heather, I tweeted you--I will definitely have to post some before/after photos. Just don't laugh at my short, squatty lashes ;)
Kristin, me too! I love this one, but like with the Benefit one, we all have different needs/loves.
Andrew, you're not being picky--they are definitely falsies in the ad. They all do that, I notice. I don't think the mascara makes me look like I have false lashes on or anything, that's going a little far, but its still a great mascara in my book.
Jalaina, I like Lash Stilletto--but same for me, there's no way they look like that ad.
Gabbi, I'm so sorry! haha I have this same war with myself all the time, and you can see how THAT turned out ;)
Mindy, you're right. It seems like they all do it. The one that got me so mad was the Flared one...ugh! My lashes just looked clumpy after applying that mascara. I was so hoping...but no.
Thanks for all the responses!

I've been wanting to try this but there wasn't any reviews on it. Lorac has a great fiber mascara that I really like more then benefit's but I don't have the money for it right now. I'm going to get the L'oreal one for sure! Thanks.

Definitely nothing like the fake lashes Gwen has on in the ad picture. Another false advertising by another greedy makeup company. Wish the US would follow the UK and ban all these false advertising/marketing. It's obvious Gwen has fake lashes on. I zoomed in on the ad pic you posted and the line in green are her natural lashes and the red are the fake.
Be careful with those fiber mascaras because if you get it in your eye you can scratch your eyeball. I once had a mascara with the fibers and a bit of it got into my eye and I had to flush my eye out because I wanted to rub it so badly but knew if I did I'd probably scratch my eyeball. So BE VERY CAREFUL.

I'm going to have to give this mascara a go!
@Yasmin - sounds like the mascara you tried a few years ago wasn't eye safe.

Well it was one I bought last year by L'Oreal. LOL It was one of those dual ended ones - the primer/fiber on one side the mascara on the other.
