ever broke a nail on-the-go & of course you're without a nail file? ever miscaclulate your time of the month & end of with a bit of stained mess?

i was just sitting here thinking, why not share my tiny bit of wisdom on everyday tips. & open the door for everyone else to share their wisdom!

imagine walking up to CVS to see an employee standing outside, filing their nail on the concrete slab on the sidewalk. haha i used to work at CVS with a lady whos son actually told her if she didn't have a fingernail file, to file it down on concrete/cement. she did that time to time when we didn't have a file handy. sort of genius of you ask me!

blood stains. i've heard peroixde gets them out but i've never had it on hand when i need it. but shampoo. shampoo has saved many pairs of undies for me! it sounds a bit gross, but if you get some spots (on undies or any clothes), get the spot wet (i do it when the washer is filling up), put a bit of shampoo on the blood & rub the fabric together on the spot. i swear it will come out!

i'm quite tired so my brain isn't fully functioning, but i'm sure i'll think of more later to add. i want to hear all your tips!

Peroxide works beautifully and effortlessly on blood stains. Starbucks napkins are great oil blotting papers on the go, as well as toilet seat covers too!

Baking soda as a toothpaste, and peroxide diluted with water as a mouthwash are great in case of an emergency. It will damage enamel with constant use, but it makes your mouth feel and taste fresh and clean in those sticky situations.

I dab a little burts bees on my puffy eyes if I had little time to get ready for work and it makes me look much more awake! Lipbalm works great as an eyeshadow primer from what I have heard.

Baby powder in the event your hair is looking greasy and there is no dry shampoo on hand. Just sprinkle a little in your roots and brush/shake out.

YES CAMERON! baby powder for oily hair. totally forgot!

i can see putting a bit of burts bees under your eyes could wake them up cos of all the mint. & i do remember using chapstick for my eyeshadow when i was a kid!

= ) the peroxide tip is a really good one as well! It totally helped lift a blood stain on one of my favorite shirts and this was even when it was kind of dry.

thanks!
