I think you should try out Ruby Woo from MAC Cosmetics. It is one of my favorite lipsticks. It is matte and it stays on all night. It would look so gorgeous on you! That is definitely my go to red lipstick. :)

My favorite red is Snow White by NYX. It's a dark red. Warm undertoned & is absolutely GORGEOUS! It would look great on you! It's very dramatic on my NC25 skin tone, but I feel like it could be the perfect red for you. :D
If snow white is too dark, Electra by NYX is also great. It's a neutral red. Very pretty as well.

NYX is sold at Ulta. I've seen it online too :)
If you like Ruby woo then also look at Russian Red from MAC. I LOVE "Russian red," it looks so classy on anyone (I think.) Also "Viva Glam I" from MAC is nice and "Dubonnet" and" Diva" which is like a burgundy color. Dare you is a deep brown red which is nice.
Overall if you want a classic red, in my opinion Red Russian is the best. Now if you want a darker red, check out the other colors :)

If you are experimenting with red shades I would go the inexpensive route first just to see what you like. I recommend the Wet n Wild Mega Last lipsticks. They come in the black tubes not the silver ones. They are great quality and the $3 pricetag doesn't hurt either. Vampy Varnish has some swatches http://www.vampyvarnish.com/2011/08/wet-wild-megalast-lipcolor-swatches-photos-review/
You can pick up Cherry Bomb to try out a deeper red (MAC Media) , Red Velvet for a cherry red(MAC Ruby Woo) Stoplight Red for a more blue based classic red (MAC Russian Red), and Coraline for a warmer red (MAC Lady Danger) all of those for less than the price of one MAC lipstick. Then you can go back and get the MAC one if you want. :)

My favorite reds (and I think they'd be flattering on you as well) are Retrofuturist (Lime Crime Makeup) which is a bold red and Glamour 101 (Lime Crime Makeup) which is a deeper more berry toned red. I think Glamour 101 would look lovely on you. A cheaper one is by NYX in Monte Carlo, it's a soft matte lip cream and I think that color would be just as beautiful on you.

Since it's first time I'd try a drugstore brand; Maybeline Colorsensational Lipsticks are amazing, affordable, and I also love them more than my high-end lipsticks. They have a whole line just for reds so youll deff. find a color you like! I hope this helped! :)

Makeup Forever's Moulin Rouge is absolutely gorgeous on everyone because it has more of that blue-ish undertone instead of orangey :)

I love RUSSIAN RED by MAC. I wear red once in a blue and this is the only red I love.

I would have to agree with Wet N Wild red lipsticks. They are not too oily or too dry and they last forever on your lips :D

A more affordable alternative to see if you like red lips are the Maybelline Color Sensational lines! In my profile picture I'm actually wearing the Shine Sensational color in Are You Red-dy?. They have a great and affordable selection.
