Yes, many of us say our significant other does not care weather you are wearing makeup or not if he loves you... yes that may be true, but that doesnt mean you should stop getting ready for him or even for yourself. This usually happens in married couples, its like saying "hey i got him he gots me dont gotta worry about my looks anymore" yeah you got one another, but you never know if he is going to look at somebody else wearing makeup or dressing atractive, may convince him to do somthing wrong...
I belive that makeup does "magic" in many people and hey iam not saying you cant be natural, but sometimes making yourself feel even more beautiful can help your significant other keep his eyes on you.

I totally agree. My husband and I have been in our relationship for almost 6 years & I feel its still important to 'do myself up' every now & then. Most importantly I do it for myself though. A few months back I did a Burlesque show on stage at a club after completing a Burlesque class & so of course I had to be all dressed up in my sexy gear & fancy makeup. The way he was looking at me reminded me of the way he would look at me when we first started dating. It was really nice :)

I've been married for just over 6 years now (and have 2 little guys) and I still wear makeup almost every day. If I'm not going out sometimes I give my face a break, but otherwise I'm still in the same habit of getting dolled up ;) I think it's really important for US not to forget how cute/beautiful/sexy we are and I think taking the time to get all done up helps us remember sometimes! My husband claims he thinks I'm beautiful no matter what--makeup or no--but it's still special when I take a little extra time. I say do whatever makes you feel beautiful, whether that's a clean face or sexy, smokey eyes ;)

My boyfriend and I have been together for nearly 6 years now, and when we first met I wasn't really that big on makeup. I would wear it every so often but not all the time. So now that I've really come to love playing around- he hates it. Some days he'll compliment a look I'm wearing, but overall he prefers I stick to foundation and mascara. If my lip is bold or I'm wearing glossy stuff, he won't kiss me, so I tend to tone it down when going on dates. I know that for work and school I can play and do my thing, which I will.
Not to say that my boyfriend is a jerk about it or anything.
Overall he's supportive, but prefers me without a heavy or bright look. I think it's great that he can still see me when I'm feeling frumpy and thinking I look like hell, and he'll take my hand and call me gorgeous. It's just the pick me up I need sometimes. It's also one of the reasons that I do go without doing my makeup pretty often as well. I don't feel like I need makeup to look good, but I like doing it for fun =)

My boyfriend tends to apologize when he kisses me and I'm wearing lipstick, gloss... or even if I'd just put on lip balm. XD He's all "I'm sorryyyy, I'm stealing it aaaall!" It's cute... but, honestly, I've known him forever and I don't think he cares one way or the other. I wouldn't stop wearing it because "I have someone" because that was never my thought behind it to begin with. I wear makeup because I like it and if I stop, it will be because I don't for whatever reason. And, knowing him, I don't think he'd care one way or another.

My husband plays around and tells me after I put on makeup he will look at me STARING and say take off the makeup with a koolaid smile on his face. : ) When I attempt to go take it off......it never fails....he stops me and says no. He also always accuses me of wearing fake lashes all the time. When I hardly wear them once in a blue moon I wear them. I have been with my husband for almost six years and I enjoy every moment I look at him. He keeps himself well groomed and well dressed ( without my help lol ). He takes his time to think about me when he is out and would surprise me with something. It could be anything he brings home. It can be candy and I am a happy camper. Because as long as he thought about me that's what makes me feel special. By no means is my relationship perfect but I definitely met my prince charming : )

My hubby and I have been to together for 6 years and married 4 of those years. He has seen me without make-up and with it. He's always told me that it was my personality and my smarts that was the main attraction for him. He never complains about me wearing make-up and he actually encourages it because he knows that it makes me happy.

my ex used to hold my arms and kind of squish it, haha because my arms weren't well toned, he used to play around & smile saying stuffs like, 'it's so soft & cute' haha.. those were the days! ^ ^
The best thing about him was, he loved me without any make-up.. he didn't care about my looks or anything, he just wanted me to be happy. haha ahh..

Ive been wit my boyfriend for over 4 years.. When we began dating I was just a mascara and lipgloss type of girl.. Over the years ive become more obsessed with makeup and got really into it. He has supported me in me finding my art through makeup which is cool because he is an artist himself ( sidenote). But my baby says he loves me no matter what i have on my face. But its always good to get dolled up once in a while. I enjoy doing my makeup not for him but for me.. It also works out because he takes care of himself and is always looking good and thats his thing.. But i love him because he loves me for me...

That is true...but my husband loves me either way so I feel beautiful around him even when I have no makeup on. He just wants me to have confidence and that doesn't matter if I am wearing a smokey eye or totally au natural. :) Confidence is totally sexy as long as its not over the top. I love playing with makeup and he supports it but gets annoyed if I take a long time! :P He prefers no makeup but when I get dolled up I love catching him staring <3

My mom always told me to never let myself go. I mean I'm not gonna get totally dressed up with full makeup and a dress everyday to greet my fiancee when he walks in the door.. but not showering and wearing pjs all day might not be something you do allll the time. lol ( but it sure is comfy)

i wear make up everyday if only to put on foundation eye liner and mascara, only on Sunday do i skip make up and hair styling that's when i'm doing the house cleaning and generally cleaning my make up brushes, i like to let my skin breathe and my hair to rest, Trent doesn't mind this, hes never going to say "I like you with out make up" or "You should wear make up today," but when I do he always kisses my forehead and tells me how pretty i look

I have been with my boyfriend for 6 years now and I will say keeping up with fashion trends, getting my hair done, going to the gym, and putting on makeup daily is a part of who I am and that will never change! Although my boyfriend thinks I look best with no makeup on, I put it on because it makes me happy.

Lipstains have become my best friend, and flavoured lippies. a good longwearing foundation that looks natural blush mascara are my musts to leave the house, but I can wake up beside him looking a disheveled mess because I was to lazy to wash off my makeup the night before and the first thing he will say is "good morning beautiful" without a drop of sarcasm. He understands my love of makeup and the fact that I only do it for me, so he takes time to appreciate the effort I put in. he loves watching me get ready.

My boyfriend really likes it when I wear a dark smoky eye sometimes haha I think it's kind of weird but hey, I don't mind!!! He said he likes when I have makeup like that on every once in a while because it makes me feel sexy and I apparently seem more confident. I love it :)

I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years and if I don't look dressed up like normal it concerns him, lol. I tend to dress up for no reason other than just bc I want to so if I go casual or without makeup, he gets freaked out bc it usually means I am sick or upset. Mostly he doesn't care but he loves when I wear lipstick and when my hair is down... he will wait hours if it means I get all dolled up but then again he takes longer than I do sometimes.
