Hi everyone. Can anyone recommend a good body scrub that will get rid of the bumps on the tops of my arms, and the dry skin on my elbows? I love Soap & Glory Breakfast Scrub, it smells gorgeous and really smooths out my skin but it makes me itch like crazy so I can't use it. I also have one of the Body Shops body scrubs but I find that it is not exfoliating enough. It hasn't made me itch yet though. The most recent product I tried is the Aqua Mirabilis Body Butter by Lush which made me itch too. I would appreciate any recommendations and/or advice. I live in the UK by the way so I may not have access to some of the products in other countries. Thanks!

Soap and Glory makes another one called Flake away which is pretty abrasive and it smells nice.
Not sure If Bath and Body Works is over in the UK but they also have a line of super scrubby body treatments.
Lush also carries Sugar Babe, Ocean Salt, Rub Rub Rub, or Buffy bar. Which are great exfoliates and moisturizers depending on which one you get.
Not sure why your getting itchy tho, might want to look into the common ingredients between the products that make you itchy and the ones that don't to try and figure out why they make you itch or maybe the have something that your allergic to in them?

The Salux Japanese bath towels cleared up those bumps on my bf's arms in a week! Try it, they're only $5!

I agree with Soma! You can also try the Lush scrubs that Ashley mentioned as well as the Aqua Mirabilis body butter bar! So amazing. But for SURE the bath towels.

Thanks ladies! I just received a Flake Away from a friend so I will try that, and have ordered some of those towels from Amazon. I already tried the Aqua Mirabilis and it made me itch! Thanks!

The towels should help most def. - just remember, if you find it's too abrasive, use a bar soap and get a really good lather to reduce friction on your skin.
I know not too many people know this, but there are numbers on the Salux towels that somewhat act like the grit measurement on sandpaper. I have the 100 and the 300, and 300 is more rough... 100 is a bit softer... but not by much.
Good luck!

Thanks Soma, I've ordered some of those towels from Amazon, I don't remember seeing a number but I'll see what they see when I get them through. Thanks for your help and advice!

I use KP Duty by DERMAdoctor, its specifically formulated for those little bumps on the back of the arms (Keratosis Pilaris). Theres a scrub and a cream, both work great! I used them for a few months before my wedding and my arms never looked better! You can get these products at Sephora.com.

A homemade honey & sugar scrub is by far my favorite way to exfoliate. Simply enough just add honey to a cup or so of sugar (in a small bowl) to saturate it and put it to use! I use it as an all over scrub (great for before you shave your legs) and very gently on my lips to get rid of dry skin.
