Has anyone tried the new Selma Hayek brand? The eye "flower" quads are so cute! I just got the smokey one to try, I can't resist cute packaging!
I already did one haul video this week so I will have to do a video on this next week, a review, perhaps?

I have the eyeshadow quad, the lipstick in "Shimmering Nude" and the rose hydrating lip balm. I am impressed with her line so far.

The lipstick is creamy, moisturizing and nicely pigmented. The balm is also very moisturizing, smells nice and gives a nice shine.

I got both the eye shadow quads and was disappointed. They looked pretty and when I swatched them I thought they were okay. But then when I went to create the look they were horrible, not pigmented and did not blend well :(

I have minor complaints about my Smokey quad, but overall it's not bad. I challenged myself to do three looks with it-I am uploading the video now. Is it my favorite thing I have ever bought? Nah, but it has been fun to use for the challenge! The darker shades were very similar, at least on my eyes! Weird grey colors. But I think I will use it for night looks occasionally.
So sorry you didn't like it, though. It's such a bummer to love it swatched and then hate it when you use it!

I saw your video and thought it looked really cute, with the flower bud packaging and stuff, but the darker looks did seem like they were pretty much the same when I saw it in person so I wasn't too impressed. I'm not likely to try this out, if anything I'm most curious about the cheek trio so I might give that a try, but it's nice hearing from folks who've tried it out so thanks for the info guys =]

I have the hydra light moisturizing gel...I just got it today actually for the very low price of 18.00 USD!! (*sarcasm*) But I wanted to find a dupe for the Chanel hydra beauty gel creme so 18 is much more reasonable than 85. Plus it seems nice so at the end of the day its not that bad. The only thing is I feel like if the packaging was better then it would sell more.
Oh I also have a lip gloss. I hardly ever wear it because its a darker color but not because of the quality. The quality is actually quite good.
