Hello! I am in desperate need of a good facewash, preferably drugstore.
I have dry and acne prone skin.
I need something that won't leave my skin feeling dry and tight, and something that fully removes my makeup.
Have you had any great face washes that have worked for you?? I would love to know.
By the way, thank you so much for your replies! I sincerely appreciate it :).

neutrogena oil free acne wash all the way for acne prone skin! i was told to start using it 10 years ago by my dermatologist in combination with my prescribed medications for acne. I've continued to use it since and just this year decided my skin has been stable for long enough that I could venture away from salicylic acid face washes.
So, lately i'm loving the l'oreal 360 clean face washes for oily skin as well as clean and clear morning burst.

I have to agree with Whitney, anything St. Ives has always been pretty great on my skin--and a plus is that they are super affordable! :)

CeraVe - I wouldn't do the St. Ives, since it's a bit harsh with it's abrasive exfoliators. CeraVe contains ceramides in it, which is a slow release formula that moisturizes continuously throughout the day, VS. drying out your face after an hour or so. It's super affordable, can be found at your drug store and I think it's much better than Cetaphil or any of the other high-end brands I wasted my money on.
I also def. encourage you to try their moisturizers too. I'm a complete sucker for their PM lotion, and it leaves my face radiant and glowing the following morning. I've used both the PM lotion and hydrating moisturizing cream, and I love both equally... the cream for harsh winters... PM lotion for the rest of the year. I can't tell you how well their products work! Try it!

I had a bout with acne a few years back and I mean it was horrible! I used the St.Ives Apricot Scrub 3 times a Loreal 360 Clean Face Wash for sensitive skin and that has worked wonders on my skin. It is like I am exfoliating every day with that stuff, but it is not abrasive at all to my skin! Good luck with your search!

Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser! It works miracles, and I swear on my life that Cetaphil is what mainly contributed to my acne going away. No fragrances, no irritating BHA's, and it doesn't strip out moisture. As far as removing the makeup, I use Olay's Sensitive Skin MU Removing Wipes.

I second Cetaphil! It really is awesome and I have super sensitive skin. You can actually get a $2 coupon on their site if you join their skin care club haha. I've seen Cetaphil literally EVERYWHERE--Target, Walgreens, CVS, etc.
Here's the link to the coupon on their site: http://www.cetaphil.com/survey/savings.aspx
