I was shopping around Folica.com and I noticed they have a flat iron that has an MP3 player on it. Would you buy it? Do you have one? Is that something women are really interested in buying?

I need BASS when I'm listening to my tunes. I thought this was gimmicky like the whole speaker add-on for the Urban Decay palette that just came out. Pass. If I'm going to spend that much $ on a straightener, I want one of quality. Took me forever to settle on purchasing the GhD. If I wanted to spend $ on good sound, I'd invest in a Bose system/sound dock for my vanity area.
Now if that straightening iron provided me with an ice cold drink every time I used it, then I'd be all over it... until then, I'm just going to have to save up for a wine fridge for my vanity area... [one can only dream] *le sigh*

OMG! I've never heard of this. Interesting, but not my thing. It's probably crappy!

That's silly! I'm playing my music the entire time I'm getting ready, not just when I'm straightening my hair. I'm not leaving my iron on that whole time, regardless of whether or not it's using heat the entire time.

Wow, talk about overkill. I would definitely not buy something like this at all. It reminds me of those rather sad AS SEEN ON TV products that are always over-priced rubbish.

I've never heard of it before lol.
I wouldn't buy it, because the price is probably gonna be 20-30$ more expensive, and the music player is probably going to be cheapy.
Plus, What if when your straightener warms up the music player and it over heats and it doesn't work anymore?

I'm concern would be safety and integrity of a mp3 flat iron. To me, the possibility of a "bad ending" with such a product seems too likely.
I think Tabitha R raised a good question, what would happen if the mp3 over heats. :S

Just seems like an unneccesary combination of products! I love listening to music while I get reasy but I have speakers plugged into my laptop and just listen to itunes.

Haha, I love you ALL! I thought it was really silly too.. and then I thought.. well maybe people do want to buy these kinds of things..
@Mandy I use my iPhone4 to play music while I get ready every morning too...
@Dylan brings up a good point about listening to music while you get ready...
@Soma, you crack me up! "Get an ice cold beverage everytime you straighten your hair" Haha, that'd be some marketing thats just as ridic as the mp3 player..
@Lorena, TOTAL overkill!!
@Tabitha, you bring up a good point... haha!
Thanks to everyone else who replied!

I already have an MP3 player; it's called an iPod. Why would I need my flat iron to have one, too? Ridiculous. I use a flat iron to straighten/smooth out my hair, not to listen to music.
