I WISH WISH WISH I could help you, because it breaks my heart to see other girls go through something like this - but I'll be honest, I have a lot of issues myself & have had problems solving them over the years.
One thing that I know is helping me currently is finding something you love & sticking with it.
I'm a collector - I collect a lot of Sci-Fi memorabilia & find myself being really happy with my life & myself when I'm going to a memorabilia shop with my boyfriend, who is also a collector. Now, I'm not saying to start collecting Sci-Fi memorabilia lol, what I am saying is that it's really easy to find a great, genuine joy in the little things you -truly- love. It's a great way to keep your mind off of the stupid, little things that bring us down.
I also collect makeup & reading about it, watching videos, etc, is a great way to keep yourself happy & learn to really love yourself while learning all of these new beauty tricks that work for yourself. :)
Another thing - Beautylish has helped me a lot. While I've only been here for a little while, I feel like I've seen all kinds of different beauty on a more personal level. Plus, reading the articles, reviews, & the forums helps get your mind off of the stressful things in life for those few 45 minutes of free time you have.
Oh & dedicate at least ONE day out of the week to pamper yourself for the night. Do a facial, a mask - Get a nice smelling bath bomb from Lush & have a nice relaxing bath. It's the little things that satisfy so many cravings in life ^_^

That is crazy you say that Monique, because I feel like thats what happened to me after I broke up with my ex, and multiple other bad events over the past year. This has been on my mind a lot lately, and I have been making honest efforts into really getting back where I used to be as well.
I just began remembering a time when my life was where I wanted it to be, and I began taking note of things I can incorporate into my life now. I have started recently being very strict again about my skin care routine in the am and pm, and I don't let anything cause me to skip it. As Andrea said, baths are awesome as well! I take one mid week almost every week to de-stress and it really does help. Consciously eating right, drinking tons of water, working out on a schedule, and just always keeping in mind the end goal. Keeping myself on a schedule for working out and such has really helped me, as I tend to lose track of time and I have a hectic schedule. Treat your body as a temple, and good mental health will follow.
You'll get there girl. Just remember that you deserve everything happy and beautiful in life, and take it a day at a time.

I'm the same because of my weight, but, you need to start looking after YOU!
Start doing things that make you happy, going out with friends, cinema etc. You should have a pamper day aswell, you can have these at home, you don't need an expensive spa (as nice as it would be) you'll feel loads better after a long bath and a pamper day once a week, you time :)
You could also have a haircut? Have your nails done? Go shopping? You could start a new hobby if beauty isn't enough.. There are loads of things you could do :) eating good, drinking plenty of water and long walks could also help you feel great and de-stress.
Just remember you're you! Rock it how you like.. Take things a day at a time.. You honestly have no need for low self esteem xxxx.

So sorry to hear what you are going through. I've definitely been there as well (I was unemployed for a while after graduating college and it did a number on my happiness and self-esteem). What helped for me was to make sure I was busy with things that I enjoyed, whether they be hobbies or just simple activities. Try to make plans with friends (even if they're well in advance) because having something fun to look forward to can really be a mood booster! Also, reading some good books or listening to music can really help as well. =)

I'm so sorry that you are going through some tough times. I was going to suggest exercise as another activity that could help you, but from your last comment, I'm thinking that is not a possibility...at least not now.
I am hoping that you have a good support system around you, like friends and family...who will be there for you when you need them. Of course you can always count on us here at beautylish!
As others have already mentioned, keeping yourself busy is key! Dive into your hobbies and let those hobbies provide the distraction that you need.
Keep us posted! We're thinking about ya!
