I've been wanting highlights for a really long time and I've been searching for different styles and colors. I finally thought of a style I like; blonde/platinum highlights in my bangs, light brown highlights throughout my hair, and thin purple streaks randomly placed in my hair. I have really dark brown hair that almost looks black. [look at my pictures on my profile] Do you think this is a good idea?

Highlights always look great but then the end result of damaged hair is not fun. To really get the results you want you would have to be more then just one session of bleaching. With us Asian's we have such thick hair and when we do bleach it it strips the hair apart and sometimes the hair turns out to be orange/brassy. Just be careful if you do decide to do all this to your hair to space the time apart. There is only so much your hair can take all at one time.
