Brushes! It's ALL about the application, baby! If a girl can apply her DS foundation and get the same airbrushed effect as a high-end foundation, it's all about tools + technique.
Oh, and the Clarisonic, of course. <3 my beep-beeps!

i agree with the brush reply. i tell people this all the time without them believing me. but i find its more about the quality of the brushes.. you can apply high end makeup with a crap brush and watch, it simply will not be what you thought it would be.

SK-ll Facial Treatment Essence because it cleared up my skin effectively. As for makeup, it would be the Clarins Neo Pastels palette. The colors are versatile that can be used for day and night. Plus the colors are gorgeous!

urban decay's primer potion
tarte's clean slate primer
mac's studio fix powder
lash curler
maybelline's one by one mascara
a tie between mac's tenderling blush & nyx's natural blush
& any skintone eyeshadow color (i love vanilla from smashbox's softbox shadow palette)
i use all of those every single day (just change up the blushes- it's not always those but they're my top 2!)
