I know a lot of people hate them, but I love sponges for applying foundation. I normally will get my sponge wet, and then start under my eyes and blend out. I just feel like a sponge gives me a little but more control, and allows me to go over places several times without looking streaky or cakey.

Flat top face brushes are a must have for my routine! I alternate between one from Crown and one from the ELF studio line. Who knew my favourites would be so inexpensive too? LOL

My favorites would defiantly have to be any kind of blending eye shadow brush. Its a definant must in any collention. I like to use the flat top face brushes as well but I always find them to be streaky so I go and smooth it out with a sponge.

MUST-HAVE BRUSHES for me are:
MAC 138 or Hakuhodo S100[or similar tapered shape face brush. Sigma, NARS, Real Techniques make some similar on a budget] Great for natural contouring, blush or all over face powders.
MAC 224 and 217 depending on eye shape for blending
Sigma F80 for foundation [can't say enough, beats out all of my high-end brushes for liquid application]
Hands: sometimes it's just better to get down and dirty. =)
