Did you get the (perfect timing) email this morning that Birchbox is exploring a new concept? They are offering a limited edition Luxe box for $38? What do you think about that? Personally, I feel slighted b/c of what a fail my May box was. Maybe that's where all the 'good stuff' has been going lately. They're saving it for their new Luxe clientele. ha! For what it's worth, I tweeted them my blog post about my April & May boxes and they thanked me for the honest feedback. I'm not expecting the world to change (or anything to change for that matter) but I feel they needed to know that I was more than slightly disappointed.

I got that e-mail too! I cancelled my box because my last few birchboxes haven't been too impressive... But I'm honestly considering this box. The price is a little steep though, and I don't even know if the contents of the box will be worth the $38!

I find it odd and irritating, it could just be that I am exposed to a lot of negative chatter online, but in my opinion they need to step it up with their $10 clients before launching something like this. I feel as though they are waving it in my face... for a mere $28 more you can have the samples you thought you were getting in the first place! haha I do not want note cards, candy and preserves. I want makeup and skincare!!

That's the same exact thing that I was thinking Mandy. Maybe if they actually told you what was in the luxe box, I would consider it. But I don't even know if the stuff in the box will even be flattering for me!
