I have been looking for a good cleaner to use with my brushes, but I'm not sure where to start. Help?!

I like Sephora's brush cleaner. It's "Antibacterial" too. Before that I always bought MAC's brush cleaner. The difference between the two is MAC's more liquidy, and Sephora's is a gel.
I've had my Sephora one for a loooooooooong time now, and it's been years since I got the MAC cleaner, so not too sure how MAC's cleaner is now.

I like my MAC cleaner, but only for spot cleaning... for deep cleaning, I use Enkore's brush cleaning recipe.

For spot cleaning I love MAC's cleanser. You don't need much and it dries quickly. Just be sure you purchase a spray bottle so you don't pour out too much. For deep cleaning, I use antibacterial liquid soap and olive oil.

Spot cleaning I always use MAC's brush cleaner. But for super deep cleaning I use Giovanni's Organic Tea Treat Shampoo. It's super gentle on the brush and really gets everything out...especially when you haven't been good to your brushes.

Is there Diaso around your area? Their stuff are at $2 each and they have a sponge/brush detergent that is really effective!

1. Take a regular plate
2. Pour some olive oil on it
3. Pour some Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo on it
4. Take your brush and dab the brush into a little bit of each.
5. Swirl the brush on your clean hand with water and continue as you see everything wash off.
Why the 2? The shampoo will help to keep the brush clean and remove bacteria while the oil helps to keep the brush hairs conditioned and moisturized while also helping to remove your makeup off your brush hairs.

Yes, for spot cleaning I use either my MAC Brush Cleaner or the BeautySoClean Brush Disinfectant Spray. For deep cleaning, just some good ol' fashioned baby shampoo does the job well! :)

@Joyce... I have heard such great things about the Daiso cleanser. I have been looking where to purchase it (online), but I cant find it. I live in New Jersey, and I dont think anyone around here sells it. I wish I could try it. Im so jelly. :)
