I want to try a new high end foundation. I've been using Revlon Colorstay for the past year or so, but really want to try something new. I need something that won't break me out, and oil free. I've been looking into Nars Sheer Matte, or Chanel vitalumiere. Any good foundations I should look at?

What is your skin type? Those are very different foundations. Vitalumiere is really moisturizing, best for dry skin and Nars sheer matte is best for oily skin.

I use MUFE HD and it's pretty nice. You should go to Sephora and get samples of a few that you'd like to try. They usually give you enough product to use a few times, so you can get a feel for it.

I have combination skin..but it is sensitive too. I have just heard good things about both of those!~I did read that the Chanel was mositurizing so that might not work too well. I think the Nars Sheer Matte might be good....but I should go to Sephora to get some samples. Thanks for ur help!

I second MUFE HD. That's my HG, and it has pretty good staying power - but you have to pick up their primer and HD powder to complete the trifecta. MUFE HD line plays well with their own line, but not so much with other brands.

Surprisingly, my foundation actually helped my skin clear up w/ continued use. I can also rough house with the bf and not worry about my face rubbing off on his clean shirts.  =)

MUFE HD would be a great choice for combo skin; sheer matte will be a bit too drying. Sheer Glow is actually matte in finish too but not as matte as sheer matte, so if you have your heart set on Nars I would try that.

Thanks!~I really did want Nars foundation....but I like that MUFE HD is oil free. I'm def going to need to get some samples from Sephora to see which one works best.

Don't forget to get a sample of their primer and HD powder to go w/ it! You'll be able to spot the difference in coverage and texture w/ and w/o it!  =)
