Shimmer is my favorite of all. I like using Matte colors in the crease since they give it a dimensional look.

Matte colors I think work great in the outer v to create a more dramatic look. I like shimmers, frost, satins on the lid.

I love em all too...but find that I like combining matte with shimmer shades for a dimensional look...but, if I *had* to pick just one...then shimmer/satin! :)

I prefer matte, personally. Shimmers are great... but I prefer to limit those to my lid. I'm a neutral-girl. Not too flashy :D

shimmer, if you're asking for a solid answer and not a "well i like them both for different things" lol. i rarely use matte except for my lips. makeups fun like that!

I love all textures <3 depends how i feel that day :P Mattes are great to add more depth to a look, and shimmers are just beautiful. Mattes are more versatile IMO though :)

i looooove different textures for different looks! i stick with mattes and low shimmers for everyday and go towards frost & shimmers for night time or fun looks.
i love them all and could never just pick one.. or i would be lost!

It depends on what I'm going for! I usually like more frosty/shimmery shades under my brow, my lid, and inner corners, and mattes in my crease. In general though glitters and satins appeal to me! <3

Both. I use matte makeup more but in the evening I jazz it up with a hint of shimmer. I'm in my late 30s now so I can't go too over board on shimmer and glitter.

It really depends. Matte is when you want a bold look, Shimmer when you want a nice dramatic look. Matte for a casual day in your life, than at night if you go to a dinner or party then put on the shimmer (: so bothh. You could never choose one.

At the moment I prefer matte. But a few months ago it was shimmer and pearl finishes. I find I can achieve the looks I want more with matte than shimmer.

I'm with Rina - I love the glitter! Shimmery shadows are my favorite. Especially over a cream shadow. Granted, I use matte/satin shadows in my outer V just to add more depth, but shimmery is definitely my go to. :)
