I live in Bangkok and we don't have brands like Urban Decay or Too Faced or even NYX and I was wondering what are primers that can compete with their primers or bases!

What brands do you have available locally to you?

Well mac paint pots are awesome. There are tons of colors. Painterly is a skin toned one but it may be light for you. I love bare study.
And if I remember right don't you have benefit in Thailand? Well they have as well good eyeshadow primers that are similar to paint pots, can't just remember the name of the product. :P
And I think bobbi brown has a eye primer?? Not sure nor never obviously tried it.
I know these are more on the pricy side, if you want something cheaper you should just go to the drug store and choose one :)

Use a creamy concealer instead, and use an eye pencil under your shadow to help make it stick :)

Oh and if you have benefit I love 'Lemon-Aid' :)

I hear NYX's eye primer is not too bad as well, if you have that.

If you have any stores that sell these, they work well too!
loreal-the loreal de-crease eyeshadow primer
revlon- creme eyeshadows (palettes) work too but you have to use it lightlyor it can crease but setting them with powders normally does the trick.
LA Splash has a Great one too if you have a store that sells that brand and its pretty inexpensive & works well with glitters and loose pigments too.
oil free creme shadows can do the trick too when used lightly!

I'm not sure if this brand is available for you, and I admit it's a splurge product, but I swear by By Terry's Hyaluronic Eye Primer! http://www.spacenk.com/product/shop+by+brand/by+terry/makeup/eye/300003174+hyaluronic+eye+primer+1+light.do
This fluid pen works so much better than UD Primer Potion and beats Mac's painterly pots spectacularly!
If you can track this down, this is the ultimate crease-free, long-lasting eye primer!
Cheers!

Loreal has an awesome eye primer! Also to make colors even more vibrant you can use a white eyeliner all over your lid and then apply the shadow over it. Its the best shadow trick I know!
