Hey ladies, i am really considering starting my own blog. I really need another outlet for myself and i love trying new things. I am in the process of doing my research for a hosting site and i came across blogger and onsugar. Anybody have suggestions or pros and cons of the two? Thanks, cant wait to explore this new world!!

I use blogger as well. It;s very easy. It's almost like you don't have to do anything. I think a lot of beauty bloggers use blogger as well. Here is my site if you want to check it out

I use Blogger as well. The only beef I have with it is sometimes it likes to add extra returns between paragraphs. Irritating! Other than that it's very easy to navigate and offers many customizable options.
Another great option is Wordpress. I've seen some blogs on Wordpress that look much more professional. Though, some Blogger sites do as well. It's all about the HTML.

i use blogger and think it is pretty great, it has tons of widgets and stuff that makes it easy to customize and you can find tons of design templates for it....onsugar is nice too and that is where i initially started my blog, but i feel like there i just much more options on blogger, as well as exposure. plus, commenting is a lot easier for people with blogger, because for onsugar i had a lot of people who used google who had a hard time leaving a comment

I use Wordpress. The only downside is that you can't have ads unless you're a VIP or you pay for hosting, but I don't really mind that.
I like it a lot better than other blog sites. To me, it's cleaner looking. Check my blog out here:

I love Word Press because I can manage all three of my blogs (personal, professional and beauty) all with one account. I'm not really a fan of BlogSpot and I think WP looks a bit more professional for my professional writing blog.

I use Wordpress also, but I pay for hosting on my own domain. I don't think the program itself is any different, just hosted on my own site instead of the Wordpress site. It's still super-easy and pretty much foolproof--the only difficulty I've run into so far is customizing my widgets (for example, I'd love to add a Beautylish widget as well as a Bloglovin widget). I think I may just be slow in the head, though, because other people who host their own wordpress sites seem to be able to do it just fine.

Luna, use the text widget and then copy and paste the html for the Bloglovin icon that you want. For the Beautylish one, I googled how to make an image into a hyperlink and put that in the text section of my blog also!
