I am on the look out for a great foundation. I have tried many brands including Makeup forever, MAC, Revlon, etc. but i get oily in my T-zone through out the day and my make starts to look a bit tired...I do you Smashbox primer but i want to know if anyone has any suggestions on a primer or foundation that would not be great for semi oily skin...

My all time favorite foundation is Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation..i suggest you go first to their counter to try it out and get a sample and see if you like it or not...but i love it...and for primers..Lancome has a good primer but I use A primer "Matte It" by The Body Shop" i think it's great!

I have oily skin too. I go back and forth right now with MUFE's HD foundation and MAC's face and body. I loooove Clinque's Pore Minimizer and Urban Decay's Deslick setting spray (it also comes in tube). The two of them work wonders. I use the spray under and over my foundation. Looooooove!
My ALL TIME favorite foundation is Clinique's Superfit. It's amazing for oily skin! I can't use it because they're lightest shade is too dark for me. Such an amazing foundation though!
I hope that helps!

I also have oily skin, and while I don't like liquid foundation, I do use primer everyday. My favorite to keep oil at bay is Philosophy's Never Let them See You Shine. It costs $20 for a one ounce tube, which isn't too bad compared to other prestige primers. When I use it I notice that I stay relatively shine free most of the day and my makeup definitely looks fresher than if I go without it!
Since I don't really do liquid foundation, I've also become a fan of the two-in-one type powders such as Benefit's "Hello Flawless!" or Lancome's Dual Finish Versatile Powder Makeup. Lately I've started to prefer Lancome's version as it seems to match my skintone better and feels so light on my skin while providing excellent coverage. They're about the same price (around $35), and can be used as a foundation/cover-up or as a powder, depending on how you apply them. I use a sponge to apply, that way I get a nice matte finish with good coverage that leaves my skin looking near flawless! Definitely check these out since you have oily skin!

My favorite foundation currently is the "Dream Mousse foundation" by Maybelline. It is on the pricey side...about $8.00, my first foundation was a BB cream which worked great, especially for oily skin. I wanted something different so I chose the one I'm currently using now, and it works great even with oily skin!
