Hey beauties!
So I'm going to attempt to apply for the Mac Pro card. I'm going to turn in my application, application fee, photo copy of my ID, my business card, and a letter of refrence of employment.
Buuuuuut...I was wondering if any one could help me out with what the letter of refrence of employment should look like.
I have asked one of my clients/friends to write one for me as she has hired me for a couple of gigs. Its real simple and states that she is a hair stylist and has hired me for makeup artistry on a couple occaisons. It also says that she will continue to hire me as a makeup artist and that she also refers me to her clients and friends.
She emailed me the letter so that I could print it out. Do you think she should sign it? I also don't think she has any letter head to type it out on.
I'm hoping my business card and the letter will be good enough credentials
as I do not have any license or certificates. But who knooows! That's why i'm asking you guys for help! I simply do free lance work.
Thanks so much! =)

MAC is the EASIEST pro card to get because they really don't verify anything. It's why other companies refuse to take it as proof.
As for the letter have her sign it. You could probably include a few samples of your work just in case you think the letter of reference won't help.

I was able to get my MAC Pro card at IMATS pretty easy. I showed them my work on a few websites, had my business cards on hand along with some of my other pro cards. If you have work here on Beautylish showing your name and your business cards show your name that should be enough.
