I do admit though my collection of polishes is severely lacking now since my daughters discovered my polishes. Every time I look I typically notice yet one more color gone/missing. That's why this past Christmas I bought them a ton of polishes of their own and hope to rebuild my collection.

I love me some ESSIE nail polish! it dries quick and stays on longgg. I also love china glaze, and believe it or not AMERICAN APPAREL has some beautiful nail polishes as well if u check out their website.
im not into nars or mac, and butterlondon is so over priced. of course OPI's are amazing but you can easily find dupes!

China Glaze!
Seeing as you say you want to try "different" brands, and China Glaze is one of the most loved and used, I'm guessing you may have already tried them?
American Apparel I agree with Elise P has a really great range of nail polishes...they are durable and they have really pretty colors.

I love China Glaze and OPI. Orly always chips by the second day. The ULTA brand polishes are also surprisingly good and inexpensive. I've never tried Zoya but I just ordered some.

I love love love Zoya. Even OPI chips on me after a day or two (I have super-thin nails), but with Zoya's Color-Lock system, I can get a full two weeks out of their colours. And the formula applies amazingly smooth and rarely take more than two coats to get perfectly opaque, even coverage.
I like a lot of the ULTA colours too, but don't apply without a base coat--they WILL stain your nails, especially the darker colours. I spent all summer trying to recover from a dark-green ULTA nail incident--my nails had giant yellow spots on them for months until it grew out.

Ohhhh I'm liking the sound of the Zoya!! I saw some ads for China Glaze and some of the colors are really nice :)

(Also, if you shop the "holiday gifts" section on the Zoya site, you can get a mini-version of the Color Lock system for $20, which is less than half the price of the full size. Good way to test the product before going all-in!)

I love OPI for Sephora, even more so than the regular OPI brand polishes. Essie is great too, but I like the larger brush on the OPI's to apply the nail polish.

American Apparel nail polish is pretty good, I've been digging my old bottles back up lately. They have pretty interesting colors and they wear pretty well. And the price point is good, $6 for 1 or $15 for 3.
They've had issues with their manufacturer with bottles blowing up, but I think they're fine now. I've never had any problems with them and I have 5 bottles of the stuff.

I really love OPI's Brush. My nails are pretty wide so it's the easiest one to use. Essie is a hit and miss for me, but I love a lot of their shades. China Glaze is a close third. LOVE the Hunger Games Collection!
