When I started with makeup, I was in the 6th year and I only wore mascara (black). Then I used powder, and then I went through the heavy eyeliner phase. Now I'm in 8th and I wear mascara, light foundation, concealer if I have a blemish, and occasionally bronzer/highlighter.

I started wearing foundation and mascara in 7th grade but now I wear foundation, concealer, blush, mascara and sometimes eyeliner in 8th grade. I think 5th grade is too early and if you want a little bit not much in 6th geade.

I started wearing makeup at 11 but only nude lipgloss and clear lip gloss. Then at 12 I wore a neutral eyeshadow, brown tightlines, lip balm, powder (I wish I didn't wear the powder) now I wear eyeliner, mascara, do my brows, eyeshadow on the lower lash line, under eye concealer, tinted lip balm.

I think bb creams, lip gloss, SOME lipsticks and maybes some powder are acceptable for maybe a 7th grader to a high schooler. Of course everyone is different and as they get older, more stuff can be jnteoduced.

I started wearing make up at age 14 and now I am only 15. I think wearing make up is find at any age if they need it. I used to have horrible acne problems at age of 13 and I felt so ashamed of my self... After that period of time I get used to having skin problems and I wear make up now :)

I think that you can wear makeup at any age you are. You can also go as bold as you want, because makeup has NO LIMITS. I will set a few boundaries though- I think that if you are any age between 0-9 (or older or whatevs) you could wear play makeup. Like children's makeup, not like urban decay or Mac. If you are 9-11, just like a natural face will do the trick- some mascara, lipgloss, concealer, and maybe some very neutral eyeshadow if you are more of a glamour type (For that age at least.) 12-14 is where the fun starts to begin- a natural foundation, concealer, nude eye looks (using like a pressed powder and lightly contouring is also fine,) and if you want a pink or nude lip color. Again, you don't need to do these, I just like to have a fun range for makeup. 14-16 is where you can do bolder looks with more complex products, but not full on glamour. That's where college comes in to play, because that's where you are free to do anything- walk in looking like a clown if you want! But if you think you like doing more or less than what I suggest, I SO SUPPORT YOU!! I started wearing makeup at a young age, and it like makes me want to get up and have fun on my face. DO YOU WITH YOUR MAKEUP!!
