PURMINERALS vs. BAREMINERALS

have any of you girls used either one of these brands or even both? if so, which one is better? how well do they work? does it last? look natural? I only use mineral foundations since my skin type is EXTREMELY oily.

I have used both and i used Bare Minerals when they first started and watched the price triple! i developed oily skin and couldnt use bare minerals without breaking out or having it clog my pores

I switched to Purminerals a year ago and i have been soooooo happy with it plus it is pressed and compact instead of a loose foundation. plus you dont have to worry about the mess and it can be used under liquid foundation for full coverage or by itself for everyday use!

thanks for the reply, ashley. it was very helpful. i've done research myself as well and a lot of people have been disappointed in bare minerals due to their ingredients and price, of course. i was leaning towards purminerals since their reviews were a lot better. although i wasn't sure if they offer samples i could try.. they only sell them at ulta, right?

yes the original bare minerals makes my face look shiney and an oily mess because of the hint of shimmer and the matte just made me break out like crazy. I purchased my first couple at ulta but they do have a website online which has some good deals so i buy mine from both! i wear the color light and i just adore purminerals! xsparkage did a couple videos using there products last christmas on youtube which is when i switched.
