Anyone else a little peeved that it seems like ALL MAJOR EVENTS in the beauty industry is in Cali?
Who really has the cash sitting around just to fly cross country? If you do, lucky you. I'm a full time student working part time so my future can be bright and cheerful and I feel like I'm being punished for it.

I live in Los Angeles, California & I couldn't even afford to go for one day! So even through you're far far away in Florida, don't feel bad! A lot of us Cali people still feel your pain!

I think with Disney prices being the way they are, I could probably afford to go to the Social instead ... hmmm ... maybe next time.

It's definitely disappointing to hear about all these great events that I can't attend due to distance and lack of disposable $$!! No one loves us in Michigan! LOL!! Oh well!

I'm in New England and the same applies! Sometimes there's stuff in NYC, but that's not as close as a lot of people think and it's so pricey. Wish I could attend more! :)

I moved to Los Angeles to be a part of that exact scene. The events are held where there is a markert for it girls and let me tell you, there was nothing going in in NC where Im from either. just had to move where the action is. LA or NYC and I dont like snow, sooo... : )

@Ashley I lived in Florida for almost 8 years and really missed the change of seasons. I'm originally from PA.
As for where the market is...that is very true! If I was single with no kids...I'd be in one of the bigger cities. Oh well!! I'm only 4 hours away from Chicago and Toronto, so I'll just have to make an effort to attend events in those cities.
