Earlier I use to do eyes then foundation But now I prefer foundation first then eyes,so that by the time im ready to leave my make up has settled.

If the shadow has a lot of fall or it's really dark shadow, eyes first. (Vice versa)

I'm with Michelle D. If I'm using black or super dark color or glitters, eyes first then foundation. Otherwise, foundation first.

I do my eyes first just so I don't have to be so careful with fallout. I have oily skin too so if I do my eyes first, I can blot the oil off before applying foundation.

Like others have said, I usually do foundation first, but if I know the shadows I'm using have a lot of fallout then I'll do my eyes first.

If I am using shimmery shadows, then eyes first - whatever messy fallout blends in with the foundation for an added glow.

i HAVE to do foundation first....i'm careful with fallout and mascara but in the rare case there is a small accident i can easily fix it anyway

I don't really wear eye makeup, but if I did I would probably do foundation/concealing first just to create the fresh palate. But fallout could be a potential problem, so I probably would mix it up depending on how the nature of the product I was using on my eyes.

I usually always do foundation first, then primer on the eyes then my eye makeup. However, Im with the rest, if the eyeshadow has alot of fall out i will do eyes first or apply a translucent finishing powder under the eyes that i can sweep away the fall out and have foundation intact!

I have a habit of doing stuff from top to bottom (i.e. wash my hair first, then work my way down). Same thing with make up -- I do my brows, eyes, then the rest of my face, then lips.

It also does NOT help me that I'm a little clumsy, and I almost always have fall out.
