Hey guys! I just recently started a YouTube channel for the first time. And I just realized how hurtful people's comments could be. I just read a comment that said "I suggest you go eat a sandwich and then go to the gym to workout because you're nasty skinny". Wow! That hurts. And it was shocking because I was wearing a t-shirt. How can you tell if I'm "nasty skinny" through a t-shirt? How do you deal with YT trolls? Do you defend yourselves or do you just block them? Please let me know. Http://YouTube.com/ashleySHOUTSmakeup

Better to just ignore/block them people who spend their time online leaving nasty comments to people they don't even know are sad individuals who are looking to get a rise out of you I wouldn't get them the satisfaction :) <3

Thanks, Ashley. I looked at the persons profile who said that to me, and first off, he's a guy (why would you talk to a girl that way have some respect for women) and second off he has no videos (he spends his time throwing people in the dirt) so it'll be better off with him just being deleted.

If you're going to get into the YouTube world you defly need to have a thick skin. It amazes me how someone can sit and take time out of their life to watch a video and post nothing but negativity. Seriously, don't pay them any mind. I had to learn this myself. It's tough and hurtful but don't let them bring you down.

You have guts for going on YouTube, its something I could never do. Delete/ignore any nasty comments as soon as you see them. These haters are weak. I hope it stops happening & doesnt bother you to much x x

I'm going to be brutally honest here, look at the tags on your videos. You think those are going to attract nice, innocent people? You kind of dug your own grave. Please don't take offense,I subscribed to your channel and have really been enjoying your videos. I just think that might be the root of your problem right now.

I didn't look at the tags myself but going back now and checking them out, I would also suggest removing those..

The tags! Ahh! My friend edits and uploads my videos for me. He tagged those. Now I understand haha. I'll get on that, thanks girls!

I agree with Erica, however you are going to get those haters no matter what tags you have on your videos. Just learn to keep thick skin, and try not to address the issues too much on your videos as this will just attract them more. Kandee Johnson is a perfect example of what happens when you continually address these people.

ignore ignore ignore! they're probably the complete opposite and just want to hurt you to make themselves feel better! being in front of a camera is way more courageous then trash talking over the internet!
