I've been using false lashes since I was 15 and almost all of my lashes have been by Ardell. Inexpensive, wide range of styles and my favorite pair (demi wispies) I can get two dozen wears out of. Seriously, the pair I have right now I've worn many many times. Now, I do not apply mascara to my falsies and I'm very careful to remove any traces of makeup that get on them and gently pull off any adhesive. Then I store each set separately in stackable plastic containers (a tip I got from a Beauty right here because I used to keep them in the original packaging). And since the Ardell ones are inexpensive I'm more apt to be creative and layer them or cut them up.
Hope this helps.

I LOVE red cherry lashes,I order them online and receive them in 3 days or less and they sell for at 1.99 a pair which is cheaper than the Ardell lashes I love. The site MadameMadeline also offers tons of discounts like 30% off

I love Red Cherry lashes too! At some of the stores in Hawaii, they get as low as $0.99. However, due to the economy, now a ways it's as low as $1.19 or so.
There is an online store www.BornPretty.com or something like that. They have 10 packs of lashes for cheap... so when you break it down it's about less than $1 a lash!! One is advertised as "handmade" and "silk" while the others... it's a different type. It's not hair, cause it's a bit "rougher" than hair... but I can't put my finger on it. However, it's still good. (I only learned about them due to another beauty's blog. It looked really great on her, and so I said why not!)
As Abigail mentioned, MadameMadline... does "mass" shipment of Ardell, Red Cherry and others. When you calculate it, it's cheaper to do that than buy it individually at the store.
As for the number of wears I can get, for some strange reason, I can't use lashes more than once. =(

Forever 21 makes great lashes (weird I know) but I find the quality to be very nice! I also love Ardell!

I usually pick up my lashes at Sally Beauty Supply, Ulta or CVS. But after reading what Abigail and Jane posted, I'm going to be checking out MadameMadline too. :-)

a vote for red cherry lashes, especially the ones made out of human hair, they look so natural, but still dramatic and feel so nice as well

I second Jane, the born pretty site has cheap Asian lashes, and those are usually really durable. I get 10 uses out of mine... And I've used a wide variety of brands like model21 and others. http://www.model21eyelashes.com/

In my experience, it's the way you treat them that makes them last longer. I have a few tips here on how to get more wear out of false lashes. Hope it helps! http://www.beautytriedandtested.com/false-eyelashes-application.html

I have found success with Ardell as well as the wet N Wild and NYC falsies! I do agree with Alexis, it has to do with how you treat your lashes!! I started with Ardell and once I became comfortable with putting them on, taking them off, cleaning them etc. I started to get cheaper brands. I will say to avoid putting on mascara while wearing them for the first time because its messy and a pain to take off! Not mention, I feel that lessens the life of the lashes!
